Author Catherine Friend to speak Thursday, September 22, preceeded by knitting at the library.

Catherine Friend, author of Sheepish; two women, fifty sheep & enough wool to save the planet, will speak at the Northfield Public Library on Thursday, September 22, at 7:00 p.m..  Her talk will be preceded by a two hour knitting demonstration from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. .    Bring your knitting needles and join the group, or watch experienced knitters demonstrate  their knitting.  Northfield Yarn, opening in September, will display some of their new yarn and answer questions.  Come and join the fun and stay for the talk!  The program is free and open to the public.  Copies of Sheepish  will be available that evening from Monkey See Monkey Read.    Questions, contact Joan at 645-1802
